Erdogan Says Turkish Court Decided Independently To Release U.S. Pastor

According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, after US pastor Andrew Brunson was released by a Turkish court, President Tayyip Erdogan said that the judiciary had taken its decision independently. Addressing US President Donald Trump, Erdogan wrote on his Twitter account, "Dear Mr. President, as I always pointed out, the Turkish judiciary reached its decision independently. I hope that the United States and Turkey will continue their cooperation as the allies that they are, and fight together against terrorist groups.”
