Are Millennials Slowly Killing Off The Noble American 'Cheese Product'?


Millennials are known for loving to try new things. That's great news for edgy start-ups. But it's not so great for good old American "cheese products." Why? According to Mother Nature Network, millennials still buy cheese--just not American cheese. They want the health benefits and the taste of natural, unprocessed cheese. On the other hand, some restaurants offer dishes with processed American cheese as "retro" dishes.

    With summer on its way and pools opening in communities and backyards all over America, it's important to note that water poses a life-threatening risk to all children, especially curious toddler. HuffPost reports that drowning is the leading cause of accidental, injury-related death among 1- to 4-year-olds in the United States, and a leading cause of death among older children and teens. A recent report from the Consumer Product Safety Commission found that the number of fatal drownings in pools and spas has increased and that the summer months see a rise in accidental drownings. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends children be taught to swim as early as a year old and that pools always be enclosed by a fence and self-latching gate. The AAP also urges parents to never leave children or adolescents alone near a pool, spa, or natural body of water.

    According to Business Insider, "IHOP debuted three new burgers on Monday, referring to the new menu items as "pancakes" in a jab at critics of the chain's 2018 IHOP campaign." That's right the big IHOP Pancake Burger puts actual pancakes on their burgers. The pancakes are cheddar cheese and they sandwich a beef patty, and look like a Big Mac-style bun. One menu item is called the 'Loaded Philly Pancake' and another is the 'garlic butter pancake.'

    According to Business Insider, "'Harry and Meghan: Becoming Royal,' a movie about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first year of marriage, premiered on Lifetime on Monday, May 27.
