South Sudan: How it won the longest war but lost the peace

Description

For the last decade, British journalist Peter Martell has covered the situation in South Sudan. His new book is entitled "First Raise A Flag: How South Sudan Won the Longest War but Lost the Peace". The country became independent from Sudan in 2011 after a long bloody war, but just two years later, a civil war broke out. Since then, tens of thousands of people have been killed. Martell tells us about what he has seen on the ground in South Sudan, as well as the historical causes of the conflict.
