Google Doodle Celebrates The Life Of "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin


On Friday the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin would have turned 57. To celebrate his life and legacy, Google released an illustration filled Doodle on February 22, which is also National Wildlife Day in Australia. In Google's illustration slideshow you'll see the Australian wildlife conservationist in the outdoors, holding a crocodile and hanging out with his family— wife Terri and kids Bindi and Robert.

    According to Huffington Post, "Washington residents will soon have another eco-friendly alternative over cremation or burial: human composting. Gov. Jay Inslee on Tuesday passed a bill that will allow residents to undergo either human composting or alkaline hydrolysis, a process that breaks down bodies using lye and heat." A company called Recompose will be providing these services. They explained the process on their website and why it's beneficial to the earth.
