Big Breakfast, No Breakfast? Which Is Better For You?

Description

Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day? Or is skipping it, as a form of the trendy 'intermittent fasting' weight loss method, the healthier way to go? Business Insider reporter Clancy Morgan decided to put it to the test himself, and skipped breakfast for two weeks in a row. While it was quite difficult at first, Morgan says it did get easier over time--although he did miss the ritual of eating in the morning. Dr. Courtney Peterson says while intermittent fasting has many health benefits, it's not the only way to diet. She explained that if dieters choose to have three meals a day, it's best to make breakfast the largest meal of all, and make lunch and dinner progressively smaller.

Yet you may be looking for something more enduring that involves a change of job or new business idea. Taurus 21 April - 21 May You don’t have to have an art background to enjoy being creative, just dive in and have fun. The Moon in Virgo and its innovative link to Uranus, can see you eager to express your unique talents today. Equally, a spur-of-the-moment idea could take you on a trip or inspire you to enjoy a new experience. Gemini 22 May - 21 June Something that occurs to you in the quieter moments, could be the answer to an ongoing issue, and help you find relief for any concerns you might have. Answers may also show up in a dream or a chat at the breakfast table, or it can be a remark from a child that helps you to see the light. Cancer 22 June - 23 July You can warm to someone you meet today who could be a tad eccentric, but refreshingly different and a great conversationalist. In fact, you might find them to be very inspiring and want to associate with them further. You may become aware of things you could do that you haven’t ever tried. Leo 24 July - 23 August An opportunity to make some extra money could become a permanent fixture, if you want it to be. See what you think and if it suits you, you may be able to get more of the same. You might also discover that an unused talent of yours is in demand, and this too can inspire you to make the most of it. Virgo 24 August - 23 September Ready to try something different? New information could find you investigating an idea or opportunity, that may be perfect for you. It will have the right amount of challenge, combined with novelty to get your teeth into. If you feel drawn to discover more, then it might become something that you really enjoy, and there is no limit to how far you’ll take this. Libra 24 September - 23 October Something hidden could shimmy into the light, waking you up and helping you to see things as they are. If you had illusions about a situation or person, these may be exposed, which might be a blessing in disguise. Other revelations can follow over the coming weeks, leaving you with a clear understanding of what you need to do and how you might profit from a certain matter. Scorpio 24 October - 22 November If you feel a sense of excitement, then it may be because the coming weeks have the potential to direct your steps along a new path. You’ll gain by liaising with others, even if their ideas are very different from your own. Sagittarius 23 November - 21 December Honesty may be the best policy, but a subtle approach to saying it like it is, might serve you better. This can be an opportunity to set a matter to rights, especially if doing so would leave you feeling freer and happier. You need to make something clear, and this could be the hard part. Capricorn 22 December - 20 January Big plans may be swirling in the ether, but everything has a price Capricorn, and it helps to make sure that what you’re considering is worth it. This isn’t only in terms of money, but other resources such as time, energy and commitment. Aquarius 21 January - 19 February You may already be making quite an impression, but this is likely not your main motive for doing what you do. The reason might be something far more personal, that allows you to make genuine progress with a matter that is dear to your heart. Pisces 20 February - 20 March With the focus on a sensitive sector intensifying, you could feel better if you surround yourself with people who are positive, inspiring and generally good company. The coming weeks might have deep significance for you, with events having a potentially life-changing effect.
