An estimated 44 million voters are expected to cast their ballot in the presidential, parliamentary, provincial and municipal elections on 20 december, in the vast and impoverished central African nation of about 100 million people. A first delivery of mpox vaccines is expected to arrive in the Democratic Republic of Congo in the coming days, the World Health Organization's chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says during a UN press briefing in Geneva.
