Indian participants try to control a bull during the popular Jallikattu bull-wrestling in Madurai, southern India. Dozens of young men were injured on the first day of a traditional festival that has attracted the ire of animal activists as participants tried to wrangle bull horns to win prizes such as scooters and household goods.
