In unveiling Spectre, Rolls-Royce sets a new precedent in the creation of an entirely original class of motor car: the Ultra-Luxury Electric Super Coupé. This designation refers to Spectre’s indulgent proportions, specified in response to a commitment that there is no greater luxury than that of space.The marque’s designers are deeply rooted in the context occupied by their motor cars. Therefore, their inspiration is drawn from worlds far beyond automotive, including haute couture, modernist sculpture, nautical design, tailoring and contemporary art. In conceiving the principal sketches for Spectre, the marque’s creatives were drawn to modern yacht concepts, specifically the clarity and precision of line, intelligent use of reflection and application of taper to emotionalise silhouettes.From the front, Spectre’s split headlight treatment is intersected by the widest grille ever bestowed on a Rolls-Royce. The vanes of the Pantheon grille are now smoother in section and a flusher fit, designed to help guide the air around the motor car’s front.

The Agnelli family, owners of Italian icons Ferrari and Juventus football club, has bought a 24 percent stake in French high-fashion brand Christian Louboutin, famous for its red-soled footwear. According to a joint statement, the 541 million euro ($642 million) investment is being made via the Agnelli's Exor holding company and will give them two seats out of seven on the board. Pierre Cardin has died. According to CNN, France's Fine Arts Academy announced the sad news on Tuesday. The legendary French fashion designer was also a success on the business side of fashion. Cardin became a popular household name with designs including clothing, perfume, and even frying pans. His breakout creation was the bubble dress designed in 1954. Cardin was 98 years old.
Rihanna's lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty, is reportedly seeking to raise $100 million in funding. The New York Times' DealBook newsletter reports that the financing may be used to expand in Europe. According to Business Insider Savage X Fenty may launch a new line of athletic wear. Launched in May 2018, Savage X Fenty generates roughly $150 million in revenue, according to the Times. In February, however, the company was the subject of a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission over its advertising practices.
