Maryland GOP Governor Larry Hogan To Run For President?

According to Politico, Maryland Republican Governor Larry Hogan may seek to primary President Donald Trump in 2020. Insiders say Hogan has been meeting with "Never Trump" Republican groups, and in March will travel to Iowa as vice chair of the National Governors Association. The 62-year-old easily won reelection in liberal Maryland last November and is one of the most popular governors in the U.S. During his inaugural address this week, Hogan discussed the “debilitating politics” of Washington and raised the possibility of Trump's impeachment. Aides to Hogan have so far denied that he’s actively exploring a White House bid.
