The Spanish police discovered a haul of nearly 40 pounds of cocaine, potentially worth half a million dollars, inside of fake bananas hidden in a shipment of real bananas during an operation in the coastal cities of Malaga and Valencia on Sunday. Footage of the haul was shot in Valencia. No, we're not monkeying around. Some 57 artificial bananas, carrying about 15 pounds cocaine, were found among the real bananas by police. Another 22 pounds of cocaine were reportedly hidden inside the cardboard boxes that carried the bananas. Following the operation, two people were detained on charges of drug trafficking. According to the police, a third person is presently under investigation.
Police uncovered some 67kg (147lbs) of cocaine hidden in hollowed-out pineapples at a Madrid market. Up to a kilo (2.2lbs) of cocaine was packed into individual cylinders, coated in wax and encased in the pineapples, reportedly in Costa Rica, before arriving for distribution in the Spanish capital.

Spanish police arrested three people in connection with manufacturing and selling counterfeit Ferraris and Lamborghinis. The group was arrested in a police raid on the garage where the automobiles were being produced. The fake luxury cars were assembled by first creating a mould of a Ferrari or Lamborghini body kit and then fusing the counterfeit body, complete with fake emblems and other insignia, onto a Toyota chassis with the use of fiberglass. Of course, the group organized fake registration documents for all their cars as well.The gang of counterfeiters then attempted to sell their fake exotic cars online. During the raid, the police found four completed fake Ferraris, while 14 other vehicles were also found in various stages of construction. The group attracted police attention once they put a vehicle up for sale in Benidorm through an online website for an approximate price of $44,000.
