Higher, wider, more exciting: at the IAA 2019 outdoor and terrain fans got their money's worth. The challenging off-road course with extreme inclines, moguls and potholes ensured pulse acceleration. Off to the field: Anyone who wanted to know the potential of SUVs and off-road vehicles, was just right on the open space of the Agora at the heart of the IAA. After all, the vehicles were rarely moved humanely in everyday life. Here in the IAA Offroad Course in the middle of Frankfurt, they offered pure action and driving fun for everyone. The over 4,000-square-meter racetrack with three routes over a total of 180 meters of track is unique: a mix of extreme inclines, seemingly unbridgeable plateau heights and slopes made the journey a real challenge.
Hyundai revealed the all-new 2024 Santa Fe to North American media at AutoMobility LA with an ‘Open for More’ development concept centered around its new, wider liftgate opening and spacious interior. Santa Fe’s wide liftgate seamlessly connects its interior with the outside environment, expanding passengers’ everyday experiences. The liftgate area, once exclusively a storage space, now expands its use to a terrace-like function to effortlessly enjoy the outdoor environment surrounding the vehicle. Hyundai Motor Manufacturing, LLC (HMMA) has designated $190 million dollars of new investment for tooling and equipment upgrades to prepare for production of the all-new fifth-generation Santa Fe. The 2024 Santa Fe 2.5T model goes on sale in March 2024, with the Hybrid model on sale in spring.Santa Fe enhances its city-friendly, adventure-ready appeal with a generous, terrace-like living space created by its new, longer wheelbase and larger liftgate opening. The longer wheelbase also allows the new model to offer standard third-row seating comfort without compromising overall roominess.
Another highlight of the revised SANTA FE is the new third generation vehicle platform from Hyundai. It not only enables the seamless integration of the electrified drive train, but also creates a remarkably generous interior space with hardly any changes to the external dimensions: The Hyundai SANTA FE is the leader in its class in terms of leg and headroom on the rear seat bench. This also applies to the plug-in hybrid, which, like all other SANTA FE variants, can optionally be ordered as a seven-seater “Seven”, despite the additionally built-in battery pack.The Hyundai SANTA FE plug-in hybrid, which is extensively equipped as standard, can be further upgraded with three attractive packages. The trend package also includes leather seats, full LED projection headlights and LED taillights, as well as steering wheel heating. The Prime package also offers extras such as seat heating at the rear, ventilated front seats with memory function (driver's seat only), an electrically adjustable seat cushion extension, a tailgate that opens and closes at the push of a button, a head-up display and automatic level control on the rear axle .
Hyundai today announced the introduction of its 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV with a freshened design motif, advanced front and rear lighting signatures, new hybrid powertrain with all-wheel drive and extensive new driver safety and convenience features. The hybrid propulsion system is the first application of its kind in the Hyundai SUV line-up. In addition, a new, upscale Calligraphy trim will be offered for the first time. Santa Fe internal combustion models will be produced at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama and will arrive at dealerships by the end of the year, while the Santa Fe Hybrid model will be produced in Ulsan, Korea and will arrive in the first quarter 2021.

The diesel version of the 2019 Santa Fe will also get an occasional-use third-row seat with one-touch folding second-row seats for easier access to the third row. The third-row seat will only be available on the Santa Fe diesel. "
