With a new character, new technology and a new name, the Škoda Scala completely redefines the compact car segment for the Czech brand. The fitting name 'Scala' comes from the Latin for 'stairs' or 'ladder'. The hatchback combines an emotive design with a high level of functionality as well as state-of-the-art connectivity, and transfers the sensational design language of the VISION RS concept study into a production vehicle for the first time. A selection of five engine variants is available, with power outputs ranging from 66 kW (90 PS) to 110 kW (150 PS). In addition, the Scala offers a high level of active and passive safety, full-LED headlights and tail lights, plenty of space for luggage and passengers, as well as numerous Simply Clever features. It will be launched onto the market in the first half of 2019.

    Škoda has completely redefined its compact car segment with the Scala. As the name suggests the brand is aiming high with the new Škoda Scala: the word 'Scala' comes from Latin and means 'stairs', 'ladder' or 'scale'. By incorporating new technology, an emotive design, a high degree of functionality and state-of-the-art connectivity, the new Škoda Scala is taking more than just one development step at a time - and is also setting new benchmarks in the compact segment. The Scala is available with a selection of five engine variants featuring power outputs from 66 kW (90 PS) to 110 kW (150 PS), a high level of active and passive safety, as well as full LED headlights and tail lights. Added to this is plenty of space for luggage and passengers as well as a wealth of Simply Clever features - making it a true Škoda. Škoda is offering the new Scala with a choice of five modern turbocharged direct-injection engines, which all fulfil the strictest Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standard. Customers have a choice of three petrol engines with cylinder capacities of 1.0 or 1.5 l, a 1.6-litre diesel as well as a 1.0 G-TEC that is set to follow in the fourth quarter of 2019 and designed to run on eco-friendly natural gas (CNG). In addition to the standard chassis, Škoda is offering the Scala with a Rough-Road package, which provides greater ground clearance, as well as with Sport Chassis Control, which allows the driver to switch between two chassis settings at the touch of a button.

Five engine variants are available ranging from 66 kW (90 PS) to 110 kW (150 PS). The five-door hatchback combines its emotive design with a high degree of functionality and state-of-the-art connectivity. The new ŠKODA SCALA transmits the emotive design language of the VISION RS study, which impressed at the Paris Motor Show, into a series-production vehicle. It will enter the market as early as in the first half of 2019.

    Škoda Auto presents the second generation of the Kodiaq, taking sustainability, spaciousness and safety to a new level. The Czech car manufacturer’s SUV flagship has seen its dimensions increased once again and now features the first elements of the Modern Solid design language. The all-new Kodiaq comes with state-of-the-art infotainment systems, including an optional 13-inch screen and a head‑up display. Innovative Škoda Smart Dials with haptic controls and a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit come as standard. The voice control system will from mid-2024 onwards become even more advanced with the integration of the AI-based chatbot ChatGPT. Škoda’s large SUV also adopts a new interior concept based on Design Selections. The five powertrains offer outputs from 110 kW (150 hp) to 150 kW (204 hp) and are always mated to a DSG automatic transmission. The powertrain line-up now also includes a plug in hybrid version with an electric range of more than 100 kilometres and an entry-level mild-hybrid powertrain. The two top engines are combined with all-wheel drive as standard. Also making their debuts are the latest generations of the LED Matrix beam headlights with a significantly higher light output and the Dynamic Chassis Control system (DCC Plus).
