After becoming beached and entangled in a fishing net in Australia's Moreton Bay, a humpback whale is rescued and swims back to safety.
A stranded humpback whale is rescued alive off Argentina's Atlantic coast at the seaside resort of La Lucila del Mar, 360 kilometres south of Buenos Aires. The whale is one of two stranded whales saved by a team of 30 people including local residents, marine environmentalists, members of the Civil Defence, coastguard police, volunteer firefighters and beach lifeguards.
Rescuers managed to save a humpback whale Tuesday, October 5, after the massive animal washed up on the coast of Buenos Aires province.
