Mike Pence Visits Federal Detention Centers

Description

Vice President Mike Pence visited two federal detention centers in Texas to view its conditions firsthand. Pence said he wasn’t surprised by the conditions and said “the time for action is now.” According to CNN, he saw two different facilities, one with extreme overcrowding and hundreds of men. The vice president was asked if the conditions were acceptable for adult immigrants and he said no.

Barr came out, shook their hands, and posed for photographs with them.
