On Prime Day New Yorkers Tell Jeff Bezos To Do Better

Description

For Amazon Prime Day, a group of around 100 New Yorkers delivered petitions to the $80 million penthouse apartment of CEO Jeff Bezos. The petitions, signed by 275,000 people, demand broad change from the company, says Gizmodo. The 275,000 signatures were spread amongst seven different petitions. Each petition criticized Amazon’s coziness with law enforcement and/or ICE. Five protesters were allowed inside the vestibule of 212 5th Ave to leave Bezos his unordered shipment.
