Méthanisation à la station d'épuration du SIVOM à Sausheim
Inaugurée en 2014 en remplacement de l’ancienne station vieillissante.Son principe de traitement repose sur deux filières : une filière eau et une filière boue. Elle se trouve à proximité d’une zone urbaine - la première habitation se trouve à 250 mètres au sud, les suivantes à 400 mètres à l’ouest. Elle est, en revanche, deux fois plus petite avec une capacité épuratoire de 6 000 équivalents habitants contre 12 350 à Sessenheim. L’équipement a été construit en 2014 en lieu et place de l’ancienne station devenue vieillissante et est géré par deux techniciens du SDEA, Matthieu Muller et Matthieu Kern, responsable, notre guide du jour.
