Millions of Muslim pilgrims have congregated outside Mecca, many of them praying for an end to the wars in the Middle East, as the annual haj reaches its climax. Mana Rabiee reports.
Pilgrims arrive at Mount Arafat on the third day of Hajj, for the climax of the pilgrimage. The ritual is the high point of the annual pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam, that officials say could be the biggest on record after three years of Covid restrictions. IMAGES
Muslim worshippers begin arriving at Saudi Arabia's Mount Arafat, during the second scaled-down hajj of the coronavirus era.
