Bristol International Balloon Fiesta kicked off near Ashton Court, Bristol, on Friday, as dozens of the hot air balloons soared upwards into the sky. The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is a four-day event, which is made up of hot air balloon displays from across the world and is expected to attract around half a million spectators.
Hot air balloons fly over Peñaflor, on the outskirts of Santiago in Chile at the first Cumbres Balloon Festival. Twelve balloons will carry the public for short exhibition trips from February 4 to 6.
Deprived of a festival due to the pandemic, balloon enthusiasts are gathering in Mondovi, the ballooning capital of northern Italy, to get their balloons off the ground in the Piedmont town.
