French government extends pension reform consultation period

Description

Speaking at the end of the weekly cabinet meeting, Edouard Philippe says the consultation on pension reform will end "on 9 or 10 December." The French Prime Minister will present "in the days to come" the government's plan "in its entirety", and has called for calm as the strike of 5 December approaches. SOUNDBITE
