Lancé fin octobre 2025 en France, le Pura 80 Pro illustre bien le paradoxe Huawei. Il est sur le papier irréprochable, avec une grande qualité de finition, un très bel écran bord à bord, une autonomie de deux jours et un module caméra d’enfer… mais n’a pas accès à la 5G, ne supporte pas nativement les services Google, force à installer des logiciels plus ou moins légaux pour télécharger des applications, ne gère pas les messages RCS et ne peut pas accéder à certains sites, notamment à cause de sa très mauvaise gestion des clés d’accès. Il se destine aujourd’hui à un public bien averti, plus du tout au plus grand nombre (alors que ses prédécesseurs, comme le P20 Pro ou le P30 Pro, étaient les meilleurs smartphones de leur époque).
