Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) Nigel Farage resigned from his position in London, Monday. He added that a new UKIP leader will be put in place by the party’s autumn conference. As one of the central politicians to lead the Leave campaign in the UK EU referendum, Farage is considered to have been instrumental in using the topic of immigration to push UK voters to withdraw from the union.

Journalists asked Boris Johnson if he would like to apologise for with some of the less diplomatic comments he has directed at world leaders over the years following his first press conference with US Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday.
