At the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show Automobili Lamborghini unveils the Lamborghini Sián: a hybrid super sports car delivering new technologies and unsurpassed performance in the hybrid sphere.The fastest Lamborghini of all time is realized in a new futuristic design; drawing on the brand's style DNA, but clearly a design for a new era. Taking the most iconic V12 Lamborghini power plant of today, the Sián is engineered around unique hybrid technologies, delivering the extraordinary emotion and exceptional dynamic performance of a naturally aspirated Lamborghini super sports car, while meeting a future demanding electrification.
Audi brought two world debuts and an array of show firsts to Frankfurt in September 2019. The brand with the four rings used the International Motor Show (IAA) to showcase a stunning collection of new products, both in the e-mobility area and from its range of conventionally powered models. The Press Conference on September 10 featured the unveiling of the Audi AI:TRAIL concept car, the vision of a future electrically powered off-roader. Another model making its first appearance was the new Audi RS 7 Sportback, with which Audi Sport GmbH is expanding its portfolio of high-performance automobiles. In the shape of the e-tron FE06, Audi’s Formula E racing car could be admired for the first time in its new technical configuration and with its new design.
Porsche presented eight new products at the 68th International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt am Main. The focus at the IAA was on the brand’s first all-electric sports car, the Taycan Turbo and Turbo S. To coincide with the start of the motor show, there were also new additions to the 911 family. The all-wheel-drive models 911 Carrera 4 Coupé and 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. The new vehicles at the IAA therefore reflect the Porsche product strategy. In future, the sports car manufacturer will focus on three drive technologies, namely highly emotive petrol engines, powerful plug-in hybrid powertrains and all-electric drives.
This year sees the introduction of the new ŠKODA iV sub-brand and the company’s two first electrified production models – ŠKODA’s first plug-in hybrid, the SUPERB iV, and the CITIGOe iV – the Czech carmaker is thus entering the era of electromobility. In addition to the SUPERB iV, a rugged SUPERB SCOUT has also been added to the portfolio of the recently revised flagship. The SCALA compact car and the KAMIQ city SUV also both come in two new variants: the new, top-of-the-range MONTE CARLO* versions exude a sporty lifestyle, and the two new G-TEC variants have been added to ŠKODA’s portfolio of efficient and particularly eco-friendly cars that run on natural gas (CNG). ŠKODA is continuously advancing the implementation of its 2025 Strategy when it comes to digitalisation too: ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab has brought several new digital services onto the market.
The completely new trade fair design is more interactive and allows visitors to experience the thrill of Porsche close-up.
