The second plane chartered by France carrying 250 people, including 65 French people from Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus epidemic in China, lands at a French military base in Istres, near Marseille. IMAGES
Around 200 French nationals and several foreigners are transported to a quarantine centre on the southern French coast after being repatriated from Wuhan in China to flee the coronavirus. They will spend two weeks in a seaside holiday resort in Carry-le-Rouet. Their plane landed around 12:30 pm at the Istres military base, about 60 kilometres from Marseille. IMAGES
A charter plane carrying evacuees from the Chinese city at the centre of the deadly novel coronavirus outbreak lands at an RAF base in Britain. A plane carrying Belarusian Olympic athlete Krystsina Tsimanouskaya arrives in Poland, where she is expected to take refuge after saying she feared for her life if forced to return home. The Polish airline LOT flight from Vienna, where she stopped over on her way from Tokyo, landed in Warsaw at 8:11pm (1811 GMT), according to the arrivals screen at Warsaw Airport. IMAGES
