The UN's highest court rules that a landmark case filed by the Gambia, accusing Myanmar of genocide of minority Rohingya Muslims, can proceed. Aung San Suu Kyi, Myanmar's former democracy icon arrives at the International Court of Justice in The Hague for the second day of a trial over the bloody military crackdown in which thousands of people were killed and around 740,000 Rohingya minorities fled to neighbouring Bangladesh.
