Half A Million Puerto Ricans Took To The Street To Demand Gov's Resignation

Description

An estimated 500,000 people marched in protest in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Monday. They're demanding the resignation of Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rosselló over offensive chat messages. It's the latest scandal to hit a bankrupt island struggling to recover from 2017 hurricanes. According to Reuters, Rosselló announced Sunday that he would not seek re-election next year. But that didn't appease the crowds, who called for him to immediately surrender the governorship.
