Paris, Aug 25 (EFE/EPA).- Spain's Minister of Presidency and Historical Memory, Félix Bolaños, on Tuesday linked the reception by France of hundreds of thousands of Spanish Republican exiles in 1939 with the current arrival of Afghan refugees in both countries.The values of "solidarity and defense of human rights" that Spain, France and the whole of Europe have shown towards the evacuation of Afghan civilians "are the same values that made France take in thousands of Spanish exiles who had to flee from a dictatorship," he said.
