French president meets freed Ukrainian filmmaker Sentsov

French President Emmanuel Macron meets with Ukrainian filmmaker Oleg Sentsov during his visit to Strasbourg to mark the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe. Sentsov is the highest-profile prisoner released during a recent swap with Russia. Sentsov was arrested in 2014 and was serving a 20-year sentence in a Russian Arctic penal colony for planning "terrorist attacks" in Moscow-annexed Crimea. His jailing sparked a star-studded international campaign calling for his release and he became a symbol of Kiev's resistance. IMAGES
