  • Sweden Is Constructing Roads That Charge Electric Vehicles

    According to Digital Trends, the Swedish transport administration is looking into developing special roads which charge electric vehicles as they drive on them. To demonstrate the concept, the Smart Road Gotland consortium is building an initial 1 mile stretch of road between the Swedish town of Visby and the airport on Gotland Island in Sweden. The road will be used to charge an electric truck and bus, using technology developed by the company Electreon. The majority of the $12.5 million project is funded by the Swedish government.

  • Tesla Sued By French Supplier

    Business Insider reports that a French metal supplier says Tesla hasn't paid for $1.7 million in parts. Lebronze Alloys filed a lawsuit against Tesla on Tuesday over the alleged overdue payments. It's not the first time suppliers have said Tesla has balked on agreements. Tesla did not respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.
