"Probable" remains of French philosopher Montaigne uncovered in Bordeaux

Scientists in Bordeaux say they have found the "probable" remains of famous French philosopher Michel de Montaigne after uncovering a coffin with the name MONTAIGNE etched on to its side. They have suspected the remains were his for the past year but will count on upcoming "further analyses" to prove the theory. IMAGES
