Depuis jeudi 15 novembre des étudiants occupent un amphi du campus de Bron de l'Université Lyon 2. Ils accompagnent une quarantaine de personnes sans-abri qui dorment donc sur place. Nathalie Dompnier, la présidente, dénonce "l'incurie des pouvoirs publics" en matière de solution d'hébergement pour les personnes migrantes.
Dans trois ans, les étudiants de l’université catholique de Lyon feront leur rentrée dans leur nouveau campus sur le site actuel de la prison Saint-Paul. Un centre pénitentiaire mis en service en 1865 aujourd’hui à l’abandon où demeurent les stigmates oppressants de la vie carcérale.
