Un chaudron nommé Wineck-Schlossberg, à KatzenthalTrois grands crus en enfilade partagent les mêmes caractéristiques géologiques : le Brand à Turckheim (le plus vaste), le Sommerberg à Niedermorschwihr (le plus pentu) et le Wineck-Schlossberg, à Katzenthal (le plus en retrait). Ce grand cru granitique de 27,49 ha est sans doute le moins renommée des trois alors que sa configuration géographique et la présence de ruines du XIIIe siècles l’avantagent nettement d’un point de vue esthétique. Surtout qu’il est parfois effacé par la notoriété historique du Schlossberg (tout court), à Kaysersberg-Vignoble. Félix Meyer du domaine Meyer-Fonné participe à faire grandir la notoriété du Wineck-Schlossberg, même si le manque d'eau et donc le stress hydrique grignote de plus en plus souvent la personnalité des vins produits, en particulier des rieslings.

The trial of a French researcher accused of violating Russia's "foreign agent" law begins in Moscow amid simmering tensions with Paris over Ukraine. Laurent Vinatier, who worked on conflict mediation for a Swiss NGO and was arrested in June, appears in a glass cage for defendants at Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky court as the trial opens.
