Images from a Hindu cremation ground in Kathmandu as Nepal witnesses an upsurge in Covid-19 cases and deaths. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies has called for "urgent" international action to prevent "a worsening human catastrophe" across South Asia. It highlighted the case of Nepal where it said "many hospitals are full and overflowing" with Covid-19 patients and that the daily caseload is 57 times higher than one month ago. IMAGES
La commune de Cornimont dans les Vosges s'est inspirée d'une coutume alsacienne. Après Noe¨l, les habitants se réunissent autour d'un feu de joie fait des sapins de Noël dépouillés de leurs décorations. A la nuit tombée, les habitants partagent ce moment convivial autour de boissons chaudes et autres gourmandises, telles que des marshmallows grillés.
François Florent, « monument » du théâtre, créateur du cours éponyme a échangé deux heures durant ce jeudi avec les lycéens de Munster. Les Premières et Terminales option cinéma ont bénéficié des conseils et écouté religieusement les anecdotes de cet Alsacien d’origine qui a fait sa carrière à Paris où il a formé des centaines d’acteurs et d’actrices.
Dans le cadre de son festival Sainte-Croix fête l'été, le parc animalier du Pays de Sarrebourg propose un spectacle inédit, dans sa nouvelle zone Le Nouveau Monde, ouverte au début de l'été. Ses deux comédiens nous présentent ce spectacle pédagogique, et le message qu'il véhicule.
