Paris, Sep 25 (EFE, (Camera: Ángel Calvo).- A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a knife attack near the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris.The incident is being investigated by anti-terrorism police.Two people were seriously injured in the attack but their lives are not at risk, police sources told Efe.The suspected perpetrator was detained in the nearby Bastille area of the French capital.A second person was arrested later for alleged involvement in the incident.French prosecutor Rémy Heitz told the press that a terror investigation has been opened due to the location of the attack and because it was carried out while the trial for a 2015 attack on Charlie Hebdo is being held.The prosecutor's office did not provide details about the detainees but French media have reported the main suspect is 18 years old and has a criminal record.FOOTAGE OF FRENCH PM JEAN CASTEX AND JEAN-FRANÇOIS RICARD, HEAD OF FRANCE'S ANTI-TERRORISM PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE.

The driver, a 31-year-old French citizen of Tunisian origin, was killed after police shot him through the windshield.
Security has been visibly stepped up across France on Friday, following the deadly attack in Nice the previous evening when a truck was driven through a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day, leaving at least 84 dead and around 100 injured. French President Francois Hollande announced the extension of the State of Emergency and the deployment of 10,000 additional police officers across the country.
Leaving his house in London on Friday morning the newly appointed British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson condemned the fatal attacks in Nice on Thursday as "an absolutely appalling incident." Johnson added that he would be looking into any implications of the attack for the UK. A truck was driven into the Bastille Day crowds killing at least 84 on Thursday evening. The driver, a French citizen of Tunisian origin, was shot and killed by security forces at the scene. French President Francois Hollande has extended the State of Emergency.
