Cambodia begins trial of President of Trade Union Confederation

Phnom Penh, Jan 15 (EFE/EPA).- A Cambodian court on Friday started a trial in the case of Rong Chhun, the President of the Cambodian Trade Union Confederation, who was arrested for his alleged connection to the crime of inciting social security unrest on the Cambodian border. Cambodia began Thursday a mass trial of opposition figures and critics of the government who face charges such as treason and incitement.
