With a new generation of owners now getting behind the wheel of the IONIQ 5 N, Hyundai will spark even more excitement at the 102nd running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) on June 23, 2024. Two 641-horsepower IONIQ 5 N cars will go after the Electric Production SUV/Crossover record as part of a four-car effort.The drivers of the IONIQ 5 N vehicles going for the Electric Production SUV/Crossover record are Paul Dallenbach and Ron Zaras. Dallenbach is an eleven-time PPIHC winner and set an overall record in 1993. Zaras is a PPIHC rookie and the newest team member. Zaras, a media personality and former Hoonigan executive, was recently chosen to showcase the story of a motorsport enthusiast preparing for this massive challenge of competing at Pikes Peak.In addition, Hyundai will debut a modified specification IONIQ 5 N to compete at PPIHC prior to the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring on May 30. Two of these additional IONIQ 5 N models will be driven by Dani Sordo and Robin Shute. Shute is a four-time overall winner and King of the Mountain title holder at Pikes Peak. Sordo is a Spanish World Rally Championship driver for Hyundai Motorsport.

At 4,300 mm long, 1,785 mm wide and 1,580 mm high, the new Suzuki S-Cross combines the robustness of an SUV with the athleticism of a sporty crossover. The long wheelbase of 2,600 mm ensures ample interior space, while the short overhangs at the front and rear emphasize the compactness of the vehicle and improve handling: With a turning circle of 10.8 meters, the SUV can be navigated through dense city traffic without any problems. The high and upright front section gives the model a self-confident appearance with a strong character. The front is characterized by a large, black radiator grille and narrow LED headlights. Together with the pronounced chrome clasp in the radiator grille and the silver insert in the lower bumper, they enhance the appearance of the S-Cross and emphasize the width of the vehicle. When viewed from the side, the angular wheel housings are particularly striking, conveying additional strength and the robustness typical of an SUV. The horizontal lines ensure elegance and optical length. The rear windows, which are tinted as standard, also refine the appearance of the S-Cross. The roof line slopes down sportily towards the rear. The characteristic rear lights in LED technology give the rear view an unmistakable design and emphasize the width and powerful stance of the vehicle. The color palette includes eight exterior finishes, including the attractive Titan Dark Gray Pearl Metallic, which perfectly emphasizes the muscular SUV character.
By calling this model the Q8, Audi is making a clear statement that the Audi Q8 e-tron is the top model among its electric SUVs and crossovers. The Audi Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron are immediately identifiable as fully electric models at first glance. This is thanks to the new front and rear designs with the characteristic Singleframe mask, the inverted grille, and blade above the redesigned rear diffuser, which systematically carry Audi’s electric design language forward. An exclusive highlight on the edition S line package is the Singleframe grille, which is finished in body color.As a prestigious electric SUV model from Audi, the Q8 e-tron ushers in the new corporate identity with a two-dimensional design of the four rings on the exterior. In order to elevate the family logo as a central element, Audi highlights the vehicle’s face with the projection light Singleframe. Additionally, the Q8 e-tron is the first model to feature the new model badge with Audi lettering on the B-pillar.
