Hong Kong civil servants asked to sign pledge of allegiance

Hong Kong, Jan 18 (EFE/EPA).- Around 180,000 civil servants in Hong Kong were asked to sign a declaration affirming that they will endorse the Hong Kong's Basic Law and pledge allegiance to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) or they will face dismissal, local media reported Monday.
