Shoppers and shops have been warned to carry on health guidance this weekend.Non-essential shops in all parts of England were allowed to reopen when lockdown ended on 2 December 2020 ahead of the Christmas period. England is in a three tier system which will be reviewed on 16 December. The capital had the highest average infection rate in the country - 191.8 per 100,000 people - for the week of 30 November to 6 December, according to the weekly surveillance survey by Public Health England.
