Contrary to other years, the red-black flags of the ruling Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) and the "revolutionary" songs did not predominate in the streets of Nicaragua, except in some cities such as Boaco, Granada or Jinotega, where a group of Sandinista militants made a tour of the city.
