We have here the only known manuscript of the opening poem of Federico García Lorca's famous Romancero Gitano collection of poems. This poem is dedicated to his friend José Mora Guarnido, whom he met in Andalusia when they were still very young and whom he will see again in Latin America, in Uruguay, in Montevideo, in 1934.3. This poem, when they were still young and Federico García Lorca read it to his friend, he promised to dedicate it to him.
