South Africa cancels Oxford vaccine campaign due to low efficacy against local variant

Johannesburg, Feb 8 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Kim Ludbrook) The Government of South Africa decided to no longer use the vaccine developed by the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca after a study showed very limited efficacy against the variant of the coronavirus (501Y.V2 or B.1.351) discovered in the country.FOOTAGE OF JOHANNESBURG.
