Paris (France), Feb 10 (EFE / EPA), (Camera: Ian Langsdon).- Paris woke up to snowy streets on Wednesday while the level of the Seine continues to rise amid the cold wave that is hitting the north of the country. FOOTAGE OF PARIS ON WEDNESDAY.
Amsterdam residents enjoyed the city's frozen canals over the weekend, even ice skating on their surface for the first time in years. The 'Beast from the East,' a massive cold front originating from Siberia that brought blizzards and freezing temperatures to much of Europe, had a silver lining. The subzero temperatures froze parts of Amsterdam's iconic Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht canals hard enough to support ice skaters.
London continued to be hit by the so called ‘Beast from the East’ weather front, with the heavy snowstorm continuing into Thursday. The forecast does not seem to offer much hope for Londoners, with temperature expected to go as low as -15C, as cold as Iceland. However, many Londoners are having a blast in the adverse weather, calling the snowstorm a winter wonderland and coming out to sled, drink coffee, and snap photos in the frosty air.
