The Russian Prison Service (FSIN) has said Navalny, the Kremlin's most prominent critic, died in an Arctic prison where he was serving a 19-year sentence, after suffering a sudden illness. A Russian security guard tackled an American diplomat to the ground outside of the US Embassy in Moscow and wrestled with him on the ground for at least a minute. Russian security services allege that the diplomat, named Daniel Van Dyken, was suspected of using his diplomatic status within the third secretary of the political department of the US Embassy as a cover and carrying out spy missions for the CIA in Russia.
