Seventh death confirmed in overcrowded prison riot in Paraguay

Asuncion (Paraguay), Feb 17 (EFE), (Camera: Noelia F. Aceituno) - The Ministry of Justice reported Wednesday the death of a seventh inmate in Asuncion's prison, the largest in the country, during the violent riot the day before, in which there was destruction and inmates took 18 guards hostage. The body was found this morning during an intervention carried out in the penitentiary, a day after the prosecutor in charge estimated that there could be more corpses than the six found on Tuesday.FOOTAGE OF THE PRISON AND IN THE JUDICIAL MORGUE, IN ASUNCION.
