Widowed politician candidate wants to "make history" in Mexico

Description

Cancun (Mexico), May 14 (EFE) (CAMERA: Lourdes Cruz).- The murder of Ignacio Sanchez Cordero as the municipal secretary for Social Development of Puerto Morelos radically changed the electoral scenario in one of the newest municipalities in Mexico.BLANCA MERARI TZIU MUÑOZ:"When I met him he was already in politics. It was something that one does not expect. These are things that happen and I definitely wasn't prepared. However, my husband's project was something that we carried out together as a couple and a family, it was something that we both longed for and as his partner I would've been by his side, supporting him. It changed my life but it was something we were going to work on together. He is no longer there but I am going to continue with the same project."
