In western France, crowds flock to cafe terraces as lockdown eased

In Rue Saint-Michel, a high street in France's western city of Rennes, restaurant and cafe terraces are packed on the first day of their reopening. After six months of life in slow motion, the French can once again enjoy a meal or a drink in outdoor dining areas, with a limit of 50% of capacity and six people per table. IMAGES
