China aims to vaccinate 40% of population by June

Shanghai, Apr 8 (EFE/EPA).- Hundreds of Shanghai residents on Thursday queued to get Covid-19 jabs at street vaccination booths. With street booths for vaccination China tries fulfil its goal of getting 40 percent of the population vaccinated against Covid-19 by June 2021.The Chinese mainland on recorded 11 new locally transmitted cases in a southwestern province Yunnan on the border with Myanmar, the National Health Commission reported on Thursday.
