Fort Boyard célèbre en 2024 ses 35 ans. A cette occasion, une émission spéciale a été tournée avec Cendrine Dominguez et Patrice Laffont, anciens maitres du fort & complices de l'émission, dont la diffusion était prévue dans le courant de la rentrée. A la suite du décès brutal de Patrice Laffont survenu le 7 août à quelques jours à peine de ses 85 ans, France 2 a boulvervé ses programmes et diffuse cette émission le mercredi 14 août. French President Emmanuel Macron welcomes his Beninese counterpart Patrice Talon to the Elysee Palace for a working lunch. The discussion was to focus on "a follow-up to the visit to Benin last July, notably support for professional training, the strengthening of economic ties, cultural cooperation projects and support for the Beninese armed forces in terms of equipment". Patrice Talon welcomes French President Emmanuel Macron to the Marina Palace in Cotonou. The two men will have a tête-à-tête and then visit the cultural works recently returned by France, having been stolen by the colonial regime. IMAGES
After Cameroon, Emmanuel Macron arrives in Cotonou, Benin to meet his Beninese counterpart, Patrice Talon. The meeting will continue with a visit to an exhibition on Beninese art through the ages. A highly symbolic exhibition after the restitution of bronzes to Benin dating from the 16th to 18th centuries that were stolen by various colonial powers. Emmanuel Macron will end his first African tour since his re-election in Guinea-Bissau.
