Jakarta, Apr 15 (EFE/EPA).- Indonesian Muslims in Jakarta on Thursday flocked to food streets for their Iftar meal, after they break their day long fast.Millions of Muslims around the world follow a particular daily routine during Ramadan, starting the day with a meal known as Suhoor which is taken before dawn prayer, Fajr - the first of five mandatory daily prayers.After Fajr, observers of Ramadan will abstain from eating, drinking, smoking, sexual activity and negative behaviors until the fourth prayer of the day, Maghrib, which is called at sunset.What follows is Iftar, the traditional breaking of the daily fast, which is usually signaled not only by the end of Maghrib but also the rattling of crockery and a general hubbub in the streets as people come together with friends and family to eat.
