Rally in London to ask Parliament to qualify China's treatment of Uyghurs as genocide

London, Apr 22 (EFE) .- (Camera: Claudia Sacrest) The British House of Commons (lower) approved this Thursday a motion that describes the treatment suffered by the Uighur minority as genocide and crimes against humanity by China in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region.FOOTAGE OF THE CONCENTRATION IN PARLIAMENT SQUARE, IN LONDON. SOUNDBITES OF AIYINAIMU, MEMBER OF THE UYGHUR COMMUNITY IN UK; MAIRA AISEAVE, A MEMBER OF THE UYGHUR COMMUNITY IN UK; RAHIMA MAHMUT, UYGHUR CONGRESS DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER OF THE 'STOP UIGHUR GENOCIDE' CAMPAIGN; AND DILNAZTRANSLATION:Aiyinaimu, a member of the Uyghur community in the UK (in Uighur language, with her son Ilham translating alongside): "I have not been able to contact my family for four and a half years. I am not sure if my relatives and relatives are alive or not. dead ".
