  • The Rise of the Far-Right : National Front surges ahead of French regional elections (part 2)

The recent Paris terror attacks upended plenty, including the campaign for upcoming regional elections. François Hollande has enjoyed a 22% jump in the polls, but it's all eyes on far-right leader Marine Le Pen who is going from strength to strength. She now tops the National Front's candidates in the third largest region in France. What does it say about French politics, in the wake of the attacks, in the throes of anemic growth and unemployment, and in the run-up to a presidential election?
